Learn how to make a Cool Designer Signature from internet fonts real easy with step by step instructions from Shoo Rayner, the author of Everyone Can Draw – the book that teaches you how to draw Real Easy!
Designing a signature is easy if you start with internet fonts. Type cursive fonts into Google and see what comes up. Usually you can type your name to see how it looks in different fonts. I would suggest a calligraphic style, as that will give you the best flow of lettering across the page as if drawn by a pen.
make a screen copy and print it out. You may want to shape the image a bit in an image editing program first.
The you can use the printed image to trace and retrace again and again, until you have perfected your new signature. You may need to to this up to 100 times a day for a week or maybe a month until your fingers retain the muscle memory to draw the signature without you having to think about it.
